Every Etsy sale carries three mandatory fees: a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on item plus shipping, and a payment processing fee (3% + $0.25 in the US; 4% + £0.20 in the UK). If the order came through Offsite Ads, add 12–15% more. The calculator stacks them all and shows what actually reaches your bank.

A $0.20 listing fee, 6.5% of item + shipping as a transaction fee, and payment processing (3% + $0.25 for US sellers, 4% + £0.20 in the UK). If the sale came from Offsite Ads, another 12–15% applies. Combined, mandatory fees typically total around 10–12% plus fixed amounts.

Can I opt out of Etsy Offsite Ads?

Shops under $10,000 in trailing-12-month sales can opt out and pay 15% when they do get an Offsite Ads sale. Above $10,000 participation is mandatory at 12%.

Is the listing fee charged again when an item sells?

Yes — each sale auto-renews the listing, which triggers another $0.20. Multi-quantity listings pay $0.20 per unit sold.
